Across the country, campus judicial systems struggle with day-to-day issues of increasing caseloads coupled with reduced staffing and dwindling resources. Alcohol and other drug use is at record levels on campus. Learn about an emerging solution patterned after the criminal-justice-system model utilizing collaborative methodologies and follow-up. This model deals with both judicial and substance use/abuse issues and shows great promise to reduce recidivism as well as abuse of substances on campuses

Hot Topics: ICAN Student Voices Panel
Facilitator
Geof Brown

The goal of the “Student Voices Panel” is to give professionals a glimpse into the lives of the students who all of us seek to serve—a chance for them to tell us about their lives. We will talk about the daily realities they face as college students, the things that worry them, the things that give them hope, what they look forward to, and how they view their campus communities. The focus of the panel is to talk about what it is like to be a college student in the state of Indiana.
